Our Expert Team

Brian Miller

Owner & CEO
Brian Miller has twenty years experience in arts and business administration. He completed a double major and received his BFA from Tisch School of the Arts. A glutton for punishment, he slogged through a 14 month Masters program in Social Anthropology at The University of Manchester in the U.K. He is a master fine art printer and, believe it or not, still prefers to print in the darkroom. His focus at Full Circle is making the the studio the best resource in the region for photographers and artists seeking print and presentation solutions.

Julie Funderburk

Owner & CFO
After 15 years of working as an Exercise Physiologist, Julie took a 180 degree turn to join her husband in running Full Circle. She gets to fulfill her love of numbers and spreadsheets while taking care of finances and business at the studio. When not at Full Circle, Julie can be found running, doing yoga, or driving her two boys to sports.

Ruth Nuhn

Senior Framer
Ruth Nuhn graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) way back in 1982, with a BFA in Photography. Her experimentation with the color Xerox process during her senior year led to a group show entitled, “di-ver”gence: the use of color in photography” at the former G.H. Dalsheimer Gallery in Baltimore. She is senior archival framer at Full Circle and has given up her life to work here since 1995. Her expertise will guide you towards a perfect match of style and preservation. Ruth loves sharing personal stories that’ll put your own life in perspective.

Christopher Becker

Digital Imaging Specialist
Chris Becker has been a working photographer for more than forty years. In that span he has worked as a studio photographer in Wisconsin, an advertising photographer in Virginia, and a studio manager for a digitization group in Maryland. He has worked closely with the Library of Congress and the Smithsonian Institution as they initiated rapid capture programs that will enable their vast collections to be accessible online. He joined the Full Circle team to get back into the photographic field he enjoys the most, serving the cultural heritage community in a one on one basis. In his free time Chris enjoys scouring the countryside in search of historic ruins that have been forgotten by time. In addition, he is an avid sports fan, having played soccer for most of his adult life.

David Richardson

Presentation Specialist
David Richardson has experience in all aspects of fine art picture framing and has been framing in Baltimore since 1999. He joined the Full Circle team in 2017 after taking time off to stay at home with his newborn daughter and working part- time for a local art conservator. He was first introduced to photography by his grandfather who was a professional photographer in North Alabama .

Annie Braunschweig

Customer Service Associate
Annie is a Baltimore local and received a BFA from MICA in 2021. Since then, they have worked in nonprofit and exhibitions, and have worked with digital services since 2017. Annie joined Full Circle in 2023. Annie is not a photographer, but enjoys learning about film from clients and coworkers and has definitely picked up knowledge along the way. Outside of Full Circle, Annie is a ceramic artist who focuses on hand-built sculpture, and can be usually found baking, spending time in the studio, and occasionally in a metal shop trying out a welding project.

Jake Batchelder

Photo Lab Technician
After receiving his Associates Degree in Photography from Anne Arundel Community College, where he also worked as a photo lab technician, Jake moved to Baltimore and joined the Full Circle team in 2020. An analog photographer himself, Jake treats every customer’s film with the same attention to detail he puts into his own work. When he’s not in the darkroom, he might be found walking the city with his dog or documenting the local skateboard culture.
